About Me

My photo
Sue White
Central, Norfolk, United Kingdom
I am an artist, photographer and interpreter of Norfolk Heritage, archaeological and wildlife sites in Norfolk,UK. In resent months I have been working on a collection of environmental themed art works in both 2D & 3D. There has always been an unbreakable fusion between Norfolk and my creativity. After finishing art collage, it was this that led me to a career as an illustrator in field archaeology in my home county. I am now exploring new paths away from the strictures of professional archaeology. Finding different ways to reflect the process of passing time, and the juxtaposition of the new/old and natural/man-made. In my work I use a variety of traditional drawing, painting and photographic techniques. I also use a wide range of digital media which gives me more scope to experiment, develop and combine images for the 21st century. Working with materials such as textiles and found objects provides a tactile quality in contrast with the 2D artwork. I select and combine these as the ideas develop and new associations form. © Sue White, if you wish to reproduce or would like copies of any of my work please contact me for terms and conditions.
